We take great care in roasting, packing, and dispatching every order at Detour Coffee Roasters. Please read the following before making a purchase.

Coffee (Beans & Ground Coffee)

Due to the fresh and perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on coffee beans or ground coffee for change of mind.

If we have made an error with your order (such as sending the incorrect coffee or grind), please contact us as soon as possible at info@detourcoffeeroasters.com.au. If the error is on our part, we will arrange a replacement or appropriate resolution.

Merchandise & Equipment

For merchandise or equipment purchased from the Detour Coffee Roasters website, change-of-mind returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of receiving your order, provided that:

• Items are unused and in original condition

• Original packaging is intact

• Returns are sent with tracking

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer until the item is received by us.

Once the returned item has been received and assessed, we will process a refund or exchange where applicable. You will receive a confirmation email once this has been completed.

Sale Items

Sale items are not eligible for return or refund, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

How to Request a Return or Report an Issue

To initiate a return or report an issue with your order, please email info@detourcoffeeroasters.com.au with your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
